Banda liderada por Clive Gregson (Manchester). Editan su primer LP en 1980 en Stiff producidos por John Wood (Nick Drake, John Martyn, richard Thompson). El disco se convierte en un clásico de la new wave.La losa de parecerse tanto a Elvis Costello fue demasiado grande, a pesar de las buenas composiciones. Después de cambios en la formación emigraron a USA con EMI pero tampoco lograron mucho éxito. Clive sigue actualmente en activo.
